Read-only vs. making changes
Employees only look, unless you deliberately allow changes.
Every connection is read-only by default. Your employees can look at your data and report on it, but they cannot change anything in your systems.
Some connections can be switched to allow changes — for example, to let an employee post a draft to WordPress. This is a deliberate choice you make per connection, shown clearly, and it is never on by accident.
Where a credential is a real secret — an Odoo API key, an email password — it is held securely outside your workspace and handed to a request only when needed. It never sits in a file your assistant can read.
