Connecting Odoo

Your address, database, email and an API key.

Odoo connects with an API key rather than your password, so you can revoke it any time without changing how you log in.

  1. In Odoo, open your profile → Account Security → New API Key.
  2. Give it a name (for example, “Autosham”) and copy the key.
  3. In Autosham, open Connections → Odoo and enter your address (like https://yourcompany.odoo.com), your database name, your Odoo email, and the API key.
Odoo stays read-only unless you allow changes on the connection. We recommend leaving it read-only until you have a reason not to.
